At the mention of her brother, Tia tenced. Abbeth never finished what she was saying, however, and that left her unsure of what was going on. To add to that, someone Abbeth knew had come. And by the look on Ethan's face, he knew him too.

"Ethan," she whispered, "Who is that?"

Ethan didn't leave his eyes off of Abbeth and Riley as they left, and he replied in a normal tone of voice. Ethan was still acting strangly.

"Riley. That's who. Haven't seen him in years."

ooc- Riley and Abbeth didn't leave, and it was Riley who didn't finish the sentence. But oh, well.

Riley walked over to Ethan, his head held high.

"Hello, former rival. I do remember when we were in the same training class..."

He looked up in mock reminescence.

Ic: Ethan glared at Riley. Tiagorlily had never seen him glare before, not even at the most evil of people. And now, here he was, glaring at someone he'd known for a while now.

Tia wrote back quikly:

Riley laughed.

"I'm terrified. Terrified, little bro. I am shivering."

Ethan was Riley's 'little brother' for the few years they shared at military school. Riley got kicked out when he stole dangerous, highly unstable pokemon from the school's weaponry storage, along with UltraMega Master Balls, something he had in fact developed. He had seventeen of them. On a side note, the Shifter was actually a prototype that he developed at that school.

Abbeth giggled at the little feud.

"Riles, I have a feeling something much more important than an old argument is coming up."

a hiss rang through the forest. then followed a growl. another kill had been done. Blood splattered the forest. in the distance, over the treetops, a city could be seen. a city with bright lights and big skyscrapers. it was a jackpot, but with a few problems, still, they walked on towards the city. food awaits

Abbeth pulled a large Latios out of her non-shifter pocket. Everything looked just like a normal Latios except for the Mystic tattoo on the right side of its neck.

"It's Abbeth now, and you know it."

She climbed onto his back and gestured towards the others.

"We really need to get out of here. Latios says that you-know-who planted a bomb here."
